A series of free educational workshops, virtual and in-person, will provide information on heat pump technology, energy savings, and how the Energize program works. You’ll meet a local installer and the program’s case managers.
2. Apply to the Energize program.
3. Work with your case manager.
An Energize program case manager will support you through the process of providing necessary documents and coordinating with installers.
4. Sign your contract.
Select the best solution for your home, and proceed with your installation.
5. Get a heat pump!
Enjoy the comfort of your new heat pump!

Puget Sound Energy Heating Rebates
Eligibility:
PSE single family residential customer
Currently heating with electric resistance or electric forced air
Amount (through June 30):
$1300 (electric resistance to ductless heat pump)
$2000 (electric forced air to heat pump)
Regular rates return after June 30:
$800 (electric resistance to ductless heat pump)
$1500 (electric forced air to heat pump)

Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit
Eligibility: There are no eligibility requirements.
Amount: 30% of project costs, up to $2000

How to Obtain: The tax credit is nonrefundable. The tax credit can only reduce or eliminate the taxes you owe. The amount will not be reflected on your invoice.

Puget Sound Energy Midstream Rebate
Eligibility:
PSE single family residential customer
Amount: $300-600 depending on equipment and project type

HOMES (Homeowner Managing Energy Savings) Rebate
Eligibility: There are no eligibility requirements.
Amount:
Amount based on how much energy you save (measured or modeled) and household income
Double rebates for low- to moderate-income households, up to 80% of project costs
